National Projects

Livingston County CARES

Beginning in January 2006, several members of our congregation traveled to Biloxi/Gulfport, Mississippi to assist in rebuilding houses of individuals affected by Hurricane Katrina. Livingston County CARES made a 10-year commitment to this region and, under the leadership of Dr. Tom Matthews, volunteers from SUNY Geneseo, the community, and Central Presbyterian Church have traveled to this region to work with local individuals and organizations. You can read more about these efforts on their website http://communitycare.geneseo.edu/.

Local Projects

The Center is located at the Geneseo United Methodist Church, 520 Genesee Street, and provides health care including mental health services.
