Music

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth:

make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

Psalm 98:3-4

Music plays an important role in worship here at Central. The Chancel Choir brings us an anthem each Sunday of September through May, the Summer Choir sings during the months of June, July, and August, and Central’s Carillon Choir, a choir of handbells often adds joy and color to our worship experience. Our children occasionally enhance our services by gathering to offer their voices in joy and praise. We are also fortunate to have students from the local college join us in lifting up a joyful noise to God. Youth Choir

The Parsons Pipe Organ is at the heart of our worship music and a recital series is presented on this instrument each Spring.

We welcome anyone who has talents to share in our music ministry. Throughout the year, there are opportunities for artistic expression in many areas including the singing and ringing choirs, vocal and instrumental solos and ensembles.
