Personal and group Bible study is important to deepening our discipleship. Various Bible study groups meet at Central throughout the year. Some Bible studies are seasonal – focusing on Advent or Lenten themes for just a few weeks. Rev. Lowmaster’s Monday Morning Bible study examines the texts that will be used on the upcoming Sunday. Those who have participated find that these discussions give them the opportunity to think carefully and prayerfully about the Scripture passages for the entire week before the sermon is preached.
